CPR Training Class at St. Dunstan’s

Have you ever wondered what that red thing was hanging on the wall by the water fountain?

It is an automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). SCA is a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. I talked to the Shoreline Fire Department and they will hold a class here at St. Ds for us. It is free! Please come and learn how to respond in an emergency.

CPR Class is Sunday, July 29th at noon. Please email me or call the church at 206-363-4319 to register. We need to know how many will attend the class.
