Flannery, who died in 1964, was a powerful and often shocking Christian writer who told stories about class, race and poverty, all set in mid-century Georgia. These are stories of hypocrisy, redemption and grace. Flannery loved God, but she was realistic about the church.
We will be discussing 3 stories:
Good Country People, Parker’s Back, Revelation
These are great stories and a little more “upbeat” than the last few. Nobody dies!
