Check your mailbox! The invitations went out this week for our Imagine the Ways capital campaign Gala Banquet on Saturday, March 23rd, starting at 6:00 PM. This is your invitation to support our campaign by attending the banquet and by making a donation.

This is a very exciting time for our congregation. We have carefully discerned our vision, mission and hopes for St. Dunstan’s Church. Our vision is inspiring:

On earth as in heaven, all are welcome, all are fed, and all are loved.

Living and working for this vision we have become The Church that Feeds People. At thirteen Vision Gatherings last year, we shared great ideas for growing our capacity to respond to God within that vision. Reviewing the feedback from these gatherings, we assessed our desire and ability to move forward with a capital campaign. The support is there and six projects in three areas rose to the top.

The Church that Feeds People: Imagine the Ways!

Here at The Church that Feeds People, we are inspired to Imagine the Ways we can respond to God and feed people in new and exciting ways. We shared the details of these six projects at our three gallery events. We will Imagine the Ways we can:

What we have learned through this process is that we are a healthy, growing congregation. We love God and we love one another. We are making a difference in the world, in our neighborhood, and in the lives of our members. Here, at The Church that Feeds People, we have the financial strength and stability, the capacity, and the will to Imagine the Ways.

And Now, the Best Party Ever!

The Gala Banquet will wrap up our capital campaign with a fabulous five course meal, live music, and wonderful fellowship. We will start with bubbly wine (or punch) and delicious appetizers, transition to a multi-course meal, and finish with our turning in our donations and pledges for the capital campaign. In addition to great food, we will be entertained by a jazz trio led by our own Terry Rogers. This will be the best party of the year and we want you to be there.
